History
Why do people write history? Why are the events and biographies recorded? Is it because they make a good read and will sell a lot of books?
No. The primary purpose of history is to teach and encourage curious minds to learn from others’ experiences.
It is said that education and experience teach us a lot. But, not all these academic endeavors and actual experiences need to be our own. If for everything, we try to learn by experiencing it, then one life may not be enough. Life is too short for that. This is the reason for inheritance and history.
History of those people whose experience teaches us something or from whose lessons we learn good or bad. Some learnings are bitter, but all the same true. Others may make you feel good but quite detrimental to your well-being.
Always be curious and learn from the history of all kinds—political, business, or culture.
