While politicians are pointing fingers at everything and everyone in sight for the unclear economy, I am excited to announce that the “U.S. economic turnaround” is already in full swing. It is happening faster than the so-called “Pundits” think.

Unemployment continues to move down. Housing prices are high but stable. Entrepreneurs are starting new businesses at a record rate, and stodgy companies are adopting advanced technologies.

Result? Growth in professional opportunities at a rapid pace.

America’s core competency is innovation. Creativity is its unfair advantage. Americans are always curious, excited, and eager to do what the rest of the world thinks cannot be done. The millennials and Zgens display the same traits.

In the 1970s, radio, TV, and the manufacturing of several electronic products moved to Japan. In the 1980s, Taiwan, Japan, and China began manufacturing many more products, from washing machines to earthmovers. In the following decades, Americans responded with the software revolution, communication breakthroughs, IT and AI marvels, and material science advances in numerous industries, leading to the dawn of an economic and technological boom.

Over the next few years, Americans will make space voyages commonplace and cutting-edge healthcare a reality. Relying on a single energy source will be a thing of the past. Petroleum companies could go the way of Kerosene oil companies, and Internal Combustion engines would be for the museums.

Demographic mix fuels American ingenuity. Baby boomers are counseling, navigating, and funding endeavors. The younger generations are energizing them with their technical savvy, innovative mindset, unconventional thinking, and an enormous appetite for risk-taking. Yet, the critical factor for success is communicating and negotiating skillfully.

Those who can negotiate and communicate skillfully will lead and reap the benefits.
